Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team at Hamilton Health Sciences. As a Pediatric Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing expert care to children with musculoskeletal and respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for pediatric patients
  • Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function in children
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement education programs for patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Minimum two years of pediatric physiotherapy experience, preferably in an inpatient and outpatient setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare teams
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Experience in rehabilitation therapy and application of braces, splints, and other devices
