Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Hamilton Health Sciences. As a Pediatric Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of physiotherapy services to children aged 0-18.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's musculoskeletal and respiratory conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address functional impairments and promote optimal health outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide family-centered care and support
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on physiotherapy techniques and best practices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects to advance the field of pediatric physiotherapy
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Minimum two years of pediatric physiotherapy experience, with a focus on musculoskeletal and respiratory conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare teams
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care
