The Role

This full-time permanent position offers a competitive salary of $91,000 annually, as well as opportunities for growth and professional development. As a Clinical Operations Director, you will be responsible for managing departmental operations, fostering positive employee relations, and promoting a culture of quality and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a positive work environment, ensuring strong teamwork and compliance with established HR policies and practices.
  • Manage departmental requirements, including staffing, training, performance evaluation, coaching, and recognition.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, addressing concerns and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Recommend, implement, and monitor departmental procedures, policies, and standards.
  • Ensure effective management of Health and Safety programs, ensuring compliance and legislative requirements.
  • Lead the development and execution of a one-year business plan, aligning with business goals and objectives.
  • Monitor quality control programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding of customer satisfaction principles, meeting quality standards, and process evaluation.
  • Strong change management skills, motivating and developing people.
  • Undergraduate degree or specialization in a healthcare field, or equivalent experience related to the position.
  • In-depth knowledge of statistics and management reports, Lean Six Sigma certification an asset.
  • Experience in planning, preparing, and devising work schedules, applying project management principles and techniques an asset.
  • 6-8 years of previous managerial experience in a clinical environment, demonstrating readiness for a management role.
