Job Summary

The Paralegal for Real Estate Team will provide legal support to the Real Estate team, including contract review, lease management, and vendor setup. The ideal candidate will have a Paralegal Certificate, 7+ years of experience in a fast-paced corporate environment, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract review and execution
  • Lease management, including tenant construction allowance qualification and lease default claims
  • Vendor setup and management
  • Assist in preparation of leases and real estate committee packages
  • Manage store construction due diligence and coordinate special event approvals
  • Update and maintain Legal Tracker and Co-Star property management databases
  • Prepare and update lease abstracts in Co-Star
  • Coordinate with intellectual property counsel to monitor and protect trademarks and trade names
  • Manage intake of service of process and subpoenas
  • Manage responses to property management issues, including reviewing leases and communicating with landlords

Requirements

  • Paralegal Certificate required
  • 7+ years of experience in a fast-paced corporate environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to flex schedule for occasional weekend or evening work
