Director of Operations

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Operations to join our team at JRoss Recruiters. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and supplies.
- Culinary Excellence: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the culinary operation, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Team Development: Foster a positive and productive work environment, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities for all staff members.
- Cultural Leadership: Demonstrate and promote a culture of excellence, respect, and inclusivity among all team members.
- Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of the restaurant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Property Oversight: Conduct regular audits to ensure the property is clean, well-maintained, and safe for guests.
- Business Growth: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the restaurant's reputation and drive business growth.
- Experience: At least 10 years of progressive experience in a General Manager role at properties of similar or larger operation (size, scope, style, market segment).
- Management Success: Proven success in property management with multiple management-level reports.
- F&B Expertise: At least 5 years of solid experience running highly successful food and beverage operations.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to write contracts, reports, business correspondence, and operations manuals.
- General Management: Excellent skills in time management, information analysis, planning and organizing, decision making, problem-solving, and delivery of results.
- Financial Management: Demonstrated financial management skills, including budget management, expense control, forecasting, and analysis of financial statements.
- People Management: Strong skills in coaching, motivating, delegating, scheduling, and relationship-building.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service orientation with a focus on exceeding customer satisfaction.
