Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our strategic initiatives and administration efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to advance the Faculty of Management's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Initiative Leadership
    • Develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with the Faculty's vision and goals.
    • Lead project planning and execution, ensuring timely and effective delivery of results.
    • Provide guidance and support to academic and administrative units to ensure integration and alignment of strategic goals.
    • Foster relationships with key stakeholders to enhance alignment and integration of Faculty activities with other Faculties and units of the University.
    • Investigate and analyze strategic and policy issues, making recommendations to the Faculty leadership team.
    • Identify and develop strategic partnership opportunities to achieve Faculty objectives.
  • Administrative Operations Leadership
    • Provide leadership and direction for administrative and financial operations, including developing and implementing strategic plans for efficiency.
    • Provide functional advice to faculty members to ensure Faculty frameworks for supporting strategic planning and management are in place.
    • Manage operational staff, including performance management and workplace conflicts.
    • Develop and review contractual agreements on behalf of the Faculty.
    • Manage system access levels and develop processes to support human resources strategic plans.
  • Budget and Reporting Management
    • Oversee resource allocation and use to ensure operational decisions align with the Faculty's strategic direction.
    • Develop recommendations for overall budgeting and planning in conjunction with the Dean and Finance Manager.
    • Manage online budget systems and financial processes.
    • Develop proposals to secure funding for long-term strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Willingness to respect diverse perspectives.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to enhancing awareness related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
