At Slave Lake Accommodations LTD, we are seeking a skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and posting journal entries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, and MS Word. The work environment is fast-paced, and the successful candidate will be required to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. The position is permanent, and the work language is English. The work hours are 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be bondable and have their own transportation. The work setting is on-site customer service in a rural area. The tasks include calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and posting journal entries. The computer and technology knowledge required includes MS Access, MS Excel, and MS Word. The security and safety requirements include being bondable. The transportation/travel information includes having own transportation. The work conditions and physical capabilities include working in a fast-paced environment, working overtime, working under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours are 35 hours per week.
