Job Summary

YK Freightways Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers, financial statements, and other accounting records
  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts
  • Prepare tax returns and other financial reports
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in accounting or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
