**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Project Director to join our team at Fraser Health. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced project manager to lead facilities projects of moderate scope and complexity.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Project Planning and Management: Manage the planning and implementation of facilities projects from initial planning and design stages through to completion.
  • Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership by directing work teams, contractors, and consultants as needed on a project-by-project basis.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders, conveying information and responding to queries, concerns, etc., regarding project status, design, and construction matters.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field, together with five to seven years' recent related experience managing, leading, and directing facilities projects in a complex institutional environment.
  • Competencies: Demonstrates the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring, and Courageous, creating conditions for people to succeed.
  • Professional/Technical Capabilities: Comprehensive knowledge of capital project planning and implementation processes, including design, construction, and procurement within current standards, codes, bylaws, and regulations.

**Salary:** The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
