Network Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team at Elvin's IT Consulting. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our computer networks and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Network Administration: Coordinate access and use of computer networks, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity for all users.
- System Installation: Install software, web server hardware and software, and other necessary systems to support our network infrastructure.
- Network Maintenance: Troubleshoot, maintain, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency.
- Security and Compliance: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Backup and Recovery: Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintain control records, and ensure data backups and disaster recovery operations are conducted regularly.
- Network Optimization: Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, optimize server performance, and ensure our network infrastructure is running at peak efficiency.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Linux, Unix, JavaOS, and other relevant technologies.
- Networking Security: Strong understanding of networking security principles and practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
