About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team at Elvin's IT Consulting. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our computer networks, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Coordinate access and use of computer networks, install software, and maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Network Security: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures, and monitor network traffic and security.
  • System Maintenance: Perform routine network start-up and close-down, maintain control records, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Technical Support: Provide problem-solving services to network users, and respond to requests for help and information from website visitors and website designers.
  • Network Optimization: Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in network administration.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
