About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team at Elvin's IT Consulting. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our computer networks, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Coordinate access and use of computer networks, install software, and maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Network Security: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures, and provide problem-solving services to network users.
  • Network Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server hardware and software.
  • Network Infrastructure: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, and implement network traffic and security monitoring software.
  • Web Development: Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts, and research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
