Sales Team Lead

New Minas Running Man Grocery Mart is seeking a highly skilled Sales Supervisor to join our team. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales workers and overseeing the sales floor operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are meeting sales targets.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their job duties.
- Authorize payments by cheque and maintain accurate financial records.
- Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Establish work schedules and ensure the sales floor is staffed at all times.
- Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure efficient sales floor operations.
- 3-4 years of experience in a sales or retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking required.
- Standing for extended periods required.
New Minas Running Man Grocery Mart is a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer satisfaction. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
