Job Title: Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at Chrysta ABA Academy Society.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans for students with special needs, providing support and accommodations to ensure their academic success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to meet the unique needs of students with special needs
  • Provide one-on-one support and accommodations to students in the classroom and during extracurricular activities
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess and document student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in special education
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with students with special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
