We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at Chrysta ABA Academy Society.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans for students with special needs, providing support and accommodations to ensure their academic and personal success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in special education
  • Tasks:
    • Attend educational conferences and workshops to stay updated on best practices
    • Discuss student progress with parents, school officials, and other stakeholders
    • Evaluate and document student progress
    • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to team decision-making
    • Provide tutoring assistance and support to students
    • Assign and correct homework, and develop course content
    • Identify individual learning needs and develop strategies to support students
    • Lead students in activities to promote their physical, mental, and social development
    • Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help
    • Prepare subject material for presentation according to an approved curriculum
    • Prepare, administer, and correct tests
    • Teach students using lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations, and field trips
