Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Services Specialist

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapist who possesses a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from an accredited university. Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists is also required. Additionally, you should have BCLS certification and computer skills, including statistics input and word processing.
As a Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a diverse and dynamic environment, providing services in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings. You will also have the chance to educate and communicate with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers.
HoursThis is a part-time long assignment, with 50% FTE and 37.5 hours biweekly. The assignment is approximately 12 months.
Compensation and IncentivesThe hourly rate for this position is $33.97 - $42.89. Successful candidates may also be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
