Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Services

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapist who possesses excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from an accredited university, membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists, and BCLS certification.
Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
- Provide education and communication to patients, families, and caregivers
- Supervise and evaluate physiotherapy students and assistants
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
- Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
- BCLS certification
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Computer skills (statistics input, word processing)
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing services in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings. The Physiotherapist may be required to provide services anywhere within the Rehabilitation Services portfolio.
Compensation and IncentivesThe successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $42.89 and may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
