Cashier Team Lead

A-1 Cash and Carry is seeking a skilled Cashier Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail store operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales floor, managing cash handling, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Tasks: Effectively allocate sales responsibilities to team members, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop a team of sales associates, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Cash Handling: Authorize payments, manage cash, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Inventory Management: Order merchandise, authorize returns, and maintain a well-stocked sales floor.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Team Supervision: Coordinate and supervise the activities of sales associates, ensuring a high level of productivity and customer satisfaction.
This is a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Cashier Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming work environment for all employees, including those with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees.
Requirements:- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or sales environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
