Cashier Supervisor Job Description

A-1 Cash and Carry is seeking a skilled Cashier Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail store operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales floor, managing cash handling, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet sales and customer service goals
  • Authorize payments, manage cash, and maintain accurate records
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely manner
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of sales staff, ensuring a fast-paced and efficient work environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or sales environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
