Senior IT Security Analyst - Cloud/Infrastructure

The Senior IT Security Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud and infrastructure systems. This includes conducting studies to evaluate and recommend security solutions, deploying and integrating new security technologies, and performing gap analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies
  2. Deploying and integrating new security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) tools
  3. Developing and implementing incident response plans, including documenting procedures and conducting training exercises
  4. Managing and maintaining security technologies, including patching and deployment technologies for Windows platforms
  5. Providing reporting and data-driven insights on the organization's security posture, including vulnerabilities, incidents, and remediation efforts to senior management

Requirements include:

  1. 8+ years of work experience in IT Security or equivalent combination of transferrable experience and education through university or college degree in an IT related field
  2. Proven leadership abilities, including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, facilitation of open discussions, fairness, and displaying appropriate levels of assertiveness
  3. Proven ability to work under stress in emergencies with flexibility to handle multiple high-pressure situations simultaneously
  4. Thorough knowledge of Information security principles and framework (ISO 27001, NIST, ZTNA, etc.)
  5. Thorough knowledge and experience on securing on-prem infrastructure, Google Cloud, and Azure
  6. Thorough knowledge and experience on Microsoft security tools and processes
  7. Ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences
  8. Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
  9. Strong customer focus with ability to manage customer expectations and experience and build long-term relationships
  10. Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with a broad range of people and roles, including vendors and IT-business personnel
  11. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  12. High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy
  13. Any one or more security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CEH, GIAC, SANS)
