Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Second Cup Coffee. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our café, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food and beverages.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports, and prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Our café is a fast-paced environment, and you will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity in a dynamic environment.
