Food Service Manager

Norm's Pizza is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high-quality food and service standards.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including budget and cost estimates.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced conditions.
- Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Work Language: English.
- Work Term: Permanent.
