We are seeking a qualified individual to fill a Sessional Lecturer position in the Department of Management at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
Course InformationThe successful candidate will be responsible for teaching MGAC50H3 - Canadian Income Taxation I, a 0.50 FCE course, during the Winter 2025 academic session.
ResponsibilitiesThe duties of this position include:
- Design and delivery of course content
- Development, administration, and marking of assignments, tests, and exams
- Calculation and submission of grades
- Holding regular office hours and maintaining reasonable availability for student and administrative contact
- Supervision of T.A. assigned to the course
The minimum qualifications for this position include:
- CPA, CA designation
- Demonstrated teaching excellence, currency in and mastery of subject area
- Previous experience in teaching a similar course at undergraduate (university) level or similar environment
- Several years related professional experience
The salary for this position will be based on the Sessional Lecturer I rate of pay, which is $9,457.89 for a half-course (0.50 FCEs) inclusive of vacation pay.
