Job Title: Sessional Lecturer Position in Corporate Strategy
Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Sessional Lecturer to teach a Corporate Strategy course at the University of Toronto. The successful candidate will have a strong background in business and management, with experience in teaching and curriculum development.
Responsibilities:
- Teach a Corporate Strategy course to undergraduate students
- Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and exams
- Assess student performance and provide feedback
- Hold regular office hours and maintain reasonable availability for student and administrative contact
Requirements:
- Completion of a relevant professional or graduate degree
- Demonstrated teaching excellence and currency in and mastery of subject area
- At least three years experience in a private-sector role dealing with business issues
- Previous experience in teaching a similar course at undergraduate level
Preferred Qualifications:
- Several years related professional experience and/or previous experience teaching a related course at UTSC with consistent, strong course evaluations
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will be required to work on a part-time basis, teaching the Corporate Strategy course during the Winter 2025 academic session. The course will be taught on Thursdays, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
Salary: The salary for this position will be in accordance with the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement.
