    • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the care and services team
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services
    • Manage and coordinate the implementation of Home-wide programs and initiatives
  • Care and Services Delivery
    • Ensure the provision of optimum care and services to promote the well-being of each individual resident
    • Assess, implement, evaluate, report, and document actions to affect positive outcomes related to the residents' health
    • Ensure nursing staff perform assigned tasks and duties
  • Quality and Risk Management
    • Develop and implement quality and risk management strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
    • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address identified areas for improvement
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders
    • Communicate effectively with the care and services team, leadership, and other stakeholders
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Successful completion of or enrollment in Long Term Care Senior Management or equivalent
    • 2 years experience in Long Term Care (Gerontology) preferred
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Must demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education
    • Must be computer literate
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
