Your technical knowledge and analytical abilities will be crucial in enhancing our manufacturing practices and expanding our product line.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Design & Development:

  • Design and develop fiber optic cable assemblies, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and client expectations.
  • Produce comprehensive product documentation, including specifications, schematics, and assembly guidelines.

2. Material Selection & Testing:

  • Choose suitable materials for fiber optic cables, connectors, and protective coatings, considering factors such as durability and environmental resilience.
  • Perform tests to assess material performance under various conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity, mechanical stress) to confirm they meet product standards.

3. Testing & Quality Assurance:

  • Execute tests on fiber cable assemblies to verify performance, longevity, and adherence to industry standards.
  • Evaluate test results and identify areas for product enhancement.

4. Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Offer technical assistance to manufacturing, customer service, and sales teams.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to fiber optic products, providing effective solutions.

5. Process Improvement:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.
  • Spot opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in product design and production.

6. Compliance & Standards:

  • Ensure products comply with relevant industry standards.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in fiber optics technology and market trends.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding or eagerness to learn about fiber optics, including the design and functionality of fiber optic cables, connectors, and related components.
  • Engineering Experience: At least 5 years of technical experience. A degree in Electrical, Telecommunications, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to address complex design challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
