About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Optical Expert to join our team at Real Canadian Superstore. As an Optical Expert, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience in our Optical clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service and ensure that customers receive a personalized experience
- Manage employee scheduling and labor management to ensure optimal clinic performance
- Maintain strong working relationships with Head Office and ensure seamless communication
- Meet and exceed Optical sales targets by providing excellent product knowledge and recommendations
- Provide optical training to staff and ensure that they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service
- Take measurements, fit, adjust, repair, and dispense eyeglasses, contact lenses, and specialty eyewear based on provincial regulations
- Order and receive product to ensure that our clinics are well-stocked and ready to meet customer demand
- Build and lead diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging
Requirements:
- Provincially licensed within the jurisdiction and a minimum of 1-year Optical experience
- Management experience is an asset
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Highly organized, diligent, with strong time management capabilities
- Enthusiastic and concise communication to meet and exceed customer expectations
- A love for fashion, eyewear, and the retail industry
