Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Crew Lead to oversee and supervise our workforce, ensuring that all work is completed safely and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train technicians on proper work practices and techniques
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times
  • Resolve customer concerns and build strong relationships
  • Oversee job preparation and safety documentation

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a cabling infrastructure setting
  • Prior experience operating trench excavating equipment and pulling machines
  • Minimum 5 years of experience reading and interpreting telecommunication drawings and specifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a crew supervisory capacity
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a direct customer-facing role

Assets

  • Current and up-to-date safety tickets
  • Communications education is an asset

Must Haves

  • Valid Alberta Class 5 Operator's License or equivalent
  • Equipment operation certifications
  • Commercial driver's abstract will be required
  • Excellent understanding of communications cabling standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service focus with excellent customer service skills
