Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Sensible Insurance & Financial Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
