We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Director of Social Enterprise to lead our social enterprise vision and drive business growth.

As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to expand and deepen our community impact.

You will work closely with our Board of Directors and senior leadership team to set the strategic direction for the organization, continuously assessing and adapting strategies and tactics to address emerging challenges and opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing market and competitive analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for differentiation
  • Leading research and development of business models, strategies, and implementation plans
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with a strong network of contacts to stay informed of opportunities, community, and industry developments and best practices
  • Building relationships with private and non-profit sector and government to explore innovative models and advance new opportunities
  • Optimizing processes, tracking, and analyzing performance and mitigating operating risks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field or a combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully identifying, launching, and/or overseeing social enterprise ventures
  • Strong understanding of social entrepreneurship principles, business modeling, and impact measurement
  • Advanced level of business acumen to identify risks and leverage opportunities that can be proactively addressed
