Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is between $74,618 and $107,264 per annum, depending on experience. Job DescriptionThis permanent part-time position involves coordinating responses to Freedom of Information requests, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and providing consultative support to departments and sites regarding information disclosure issues and questions. The successful candidate will also develop and deliver education and training materials, assist in the development of corporate-wide information access awareness campaigns, and maintain tracking systems for FOI requests and consultations.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Degree in Health Information Science, Health Administration, or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of recent experience in healthcare
- Completion of an Information Access and/or Protection of Privacy program (certification as a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Canada is an asset)
Preferred qualifications include leadership, facilitation, coaching, project management, and presentation skills. The ideal candidate will have intermediate-level computer skills, be able to operate Microsoft Office applications and other software, and possess strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
