Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the City of Kelowna as a Quality Assurance Specialist.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of police investigations, reviewing operational files to ensure compliance with legal obligations and policy requirements. You will analyze information, identify deficiencies, and request corrective action be taken. Additionally, you will coach RCMP cadets on quality assurance issues, assist in identifying training requirements, and prepare lesson plans and handouts.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a team. You must have experience working in a police environment, auditing and reviewing operational files, and providing administrative direction and guidance.

You will be joining a dynamic team that works closely with community partners to provide high-quality service to residents and visitors of Kelowna. Our team is dedicated to building strong relationships and making a positive impact in our community.

About the Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $72,000 to $84,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings, and paid time off.
