About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Richmond Star Education Ltd. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our preschool setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining a Safe and Healthy Environment
    • Ensure the daycare equipment is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs to the supervisor.
    • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Supporting Early Childhood Educators
    • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
    • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
  • Engaging Children in Activities
    • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
    • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • First Aid Certificate.

  • Work Language
    • English.
  • Work Hours
    • 40 hours per week.
