Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Fine Art Montessori Childcare Centre Inc. The successful candidate will assist early childhood educators in creating a nurturing environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and implementing programs that cater to the diverse needs of children
  • Support early childhood educators in maintaining accurate records and submitting written observations
  • Engage children in activities that foster their growth and development, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and challenges
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a childcare setting
  • Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
Work Setting

This is a permanent position in a child care centre.
