ComForCare Home Health Care is a leading provider of in-home care services, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. We are seeking compassionate and skilled Behavior Interventionists to join our team and support children in reaching their full potential.

Job Summary

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will be responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments, analyzing data to identify behavioral issues, and developing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs). You will also train and support parents, educators, and caregivers in the implementation of behavior strategies, monitor client progress through regular data collection and analysis, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for clients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to identify behavioral issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings.
  • Train and support parents, educators, and caregivers in the implementation of behavior strategies.
  • Monitor client progress through regular data collection and analysis.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Stay current with best practices and research in ABA and contribute to ongoing program development.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation using ComForCare online application.
  • Exhibit professionalism while representing ComForCare culture.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field.
  • Current BCBA certification.
  • Experience in ABA with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ethical practices and professional development.
  • Eligibility to legally work in Canada is necessary for this position.
  • A valid driver's license is a plus.
  • First Aid Certification is required.
  • Covid Vaccination Proof is required.
  • Current TB screening and a Criminal Record Check are required.
