Medical Office Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at IMPACT Health. As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic by coordinating the flow of information, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the flow of information between healthcare professionals and patients
- Schedule and confirm appointments with patients and healthcare professionals
- Complete insurance and other claim forms accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a secure and organized filing system
- Order supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Enter and format medical reports and correspondence electronically
- Prepare spreadsheets and documents for review by healthcare professionals
- Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- College diploma or equivalent in a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical administrative role
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records software
