We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Shogun Commerce Ltd. as an Executive Chef. This is a permanent position with a salary of $45,000 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and offering a range of benefits.

The successful candidate will have at least one year's experience working in a similar role and will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure seamless food preparation and service

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard

Requirements
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
  • At least one year's experience working in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and kitchen management principles
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
