About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Attendant to join our team at Need For Speed Transfer Inc. as a Patient Transport Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting patients between care facilities, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport Patients: Safely transport patients between care facilities, hospitals, and other medical facilities.
  • Provide Patient Care: Assist patients with mobility issues, provide emotional support, and ensure their comfort during transportation.
  • Operate Vehicles: Drive company vehicles, adhering to traffic laws and regulations, and ensuring the safety of patients and others on the road.
  • Maintain Vehicle: Regularly inspect and maintain company vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Communicate with Patients and Staff: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless transportation services.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and a valid driver's license.
  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance.
Work Environment

As a Patient Transport Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, and be required to stand for extended periods. You will also be responsible for lifting and moving patients, which requires a high level of physical fitness.
