About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Attendant to join our team at Need For Speed Transfer Inc. as a Patient Transport Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and transportation services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport Patients Safely and Efficiently: Our ideal candidate will have experience in transporting patients between care facilities, using wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
  • Respond to Patient Needs: You will be responsible for answering call signals to determine patients' needs and providing assistance as required.
  • Maintain a Safe and Healthy Environment: Our Medical Attendant will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients, including adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: You will work closely with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and transportation services.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
  • Skills: Basic security clearance, valid driver's license, and ability to lift over 45 kg (100 lbs)
