Job Summary

Tiny Hoppers Park Lawn seeks a dedicated and experienced Lead Child Care Professional to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our child care centre, ensuring the health, security, and well-being of children in our care.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, including ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Synthesize the overall situation of the children and communicate information to parents through regular reports and meetings.
  • Supervise and train staff, trainees, or volunteers, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate and at least 2 years of experience working in a child care setting. You should also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including dental and disability coverage.
