About the Role:
We are looking for a highly organized and analytical individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will assist the Lead Structural Designer with the delivery of project requirements as they relate to scope, quantities, cost, and schedule. Your primary responsibilities will include producing and maintaining technical and engineering drawings using 2D and 3D CAD software as required, performing conceptual layout work, checking drawings prior to release, and ensuring coordination with designers and engineers within the discipline and with other disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed designs and models of structural systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Perform conceptual layout work.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need experience working in a large project, multi-disciplinary EPCM environment. Proficiency in the use of 2D and 3D structural design/drawing software packages, including Revit, AutoCAD, or Bentley MicroStation software, is essential. Additionally, knowledge of industry or regulatory standards, regulations, and codes pertinent to structural design in Ontario is necessary. If you have an understanding of other discipline requirements and excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will thrive in this position.
