About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our team at OpsGuru. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing deep business and technical expertise across all of our focus areas in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership and guidance to clients on cloud adoption and migration strategies
  • Develop and implement cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage and mentor a team of technical professionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the organization

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience delivering professional services or providing product management for one or more workloads on major cloud providers (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure)
  • 10+ years of experience in a relevant information technology environment
  • A history of delivering presentations to a wide-ranging audience, including CxO and VP level executives
  • A history of managing multiple complex projects with a wide variety of stakeholders simultaneously
  • Sales experience, preferably in a pre-sales function
  • Confidently model costs and explain the total cost of ownership model of various methods of hosting infrastructure
  • A history of holding a budget and can model project costs and provide resourcing plans
  • A history of handling customer requests and escalations
