Job Title: Administrative Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Frontier Bakery. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in administrative tasks, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events.
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages.
  • Answer electronic enquiries.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations.
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas.
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, MS Access, and MS Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organized, accurate, and reliable.
