About the Role:
The University of Waterloo is seeking a highly skilled Research Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality research and evaluation to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement research projects to collect data and feedback from students, staff, and stakeholders.
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and develop recommendations for program improvements.
- Develop and maintain a systematic process for completing research requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with departments across the university to develop and implement research projects aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage all aspects of WUSA participation in large-scale surveys and research projects.
- Prepare annual and customized reports and presentations for senior leadership and relevant departments.
- Communicate research findings to support the development of actionable recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a bachelor's degree in a social science field, emphasizing research and evaluation.
- At least 3 years of experience in a data analysis and/or research role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Experience with primary and secondary research methods, including quantitative and qualitative research.
- Progressive data analysis experience, preferably related to a research environment that impacts the student experience.
- Experience in project management, report writing, and presentation.
