We are seeking an experienced Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at INDER SANDHU ACCOUNTING & TAX SERVICES INC.

About the Role

This is a permanent position requiring 35 to 40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be organized and reliable, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

About You

You will possess a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and have experience in accounting bookkeeping, preferably with knowledge of Quick Books, MS Excel, and MS Word. Your expertise in financial record-keeping, budgeting, and financial statement preparation will be valuable assets to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
