We are seeking a skilled Breakfast Cook to join our team at JAG 'N SUGAR RESTAURANTS INC.
Job Summary:The Breakfast Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, inspecting kitchens and food service areas, training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, ordering supplies and equipment, supervising kitchen staff and helpers, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and cleaning kitchen and work areas.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Permanent employment
- 30 to 40 hours per week
- English language
The Breakfast Cook will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, under pressure, and will require attention to detail, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills.
