About the Role

Aurora Cannabis is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Maintenance and Engineering to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and engineering functions of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Management: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure a safe environment, maintain product quality, minimize downtime, and optimize equipment performance.
  • Capital Investment Planning: Develop and maintain a strategic capital investment plan to support the long-term growth and sustainability of our facilities.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the reliability and facilities maintenance teams.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure that all maintenance and engineering activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Asset Management and Lifecycle Planning: Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimize the lifecycle of equipment and infrastructure.
  • Data Analysis and Performance Metrics: Utilize data analytics tools and performance metrics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance, engineering, and facility operations.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of successfully managing maintenance programs, executing engineering projects, and leading projects including capital investment initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in project planning, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and best practices in maintenance and engineering.
  • Experience working in the cannabis industry or other highly regulated industries is a plus.
