The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Information Technology to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our IT strategy, ensuring that our technology infrastructure is aligned with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Provide visionary leadership for our IT department, driving innovation and excellence in all aspects of technology.
- Develop and implement strategic plans that leverage technology to drive business growth and success.
- Recommend and implement optimal technology solutions to streamline internal operations and enhance strategic benefits.
- Assess and optimize our IT services, balancing outsourcing and in-house delivery to meet business needs.
- Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience and drive business success.
- Plan and implement new and existing systems, providing guidance to IT professionals and other staff.
- Approve purchases of technological equipment and software, establishing partnerships with IT providers.
- Oversee our technological infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and administer best practices for master data management.
- Lead and direct IT-related projects, driving results and delivering value.
- Expand and refine our IT policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with business needs.
- Monitor technological advancements, identifying opportunities to gain a competitive advantage.
- Analyze the cost, value, and risks of information technology, advising management and recommending actions.
- Lead and develop IT personnel, ensuring they have the skills and expertise needed to meet business demands.
Selection Criteria Include:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of progressively senior experience in IT leadership.
- Experience in manufacturing with multiple locations.
- Experience in designing and developing IT systems and implementation.
- Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations.
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
