Experiential Marketing Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven professional to join our team as an Experiential Marketing Representative in Calgary. As a key member of our regional marketing team, you will be responsible for creating new business partnerships and executing local marketing event strategies to drive brand penetration in the market.

The Acquisition Group is a leading provider of experiential marketing services, working closely with clients such as TELUS Communications to deliver engaging and impactful experiences that drive sales and brand awareness.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Business Development:
  • Create and execute strategic plans to build new business partnerships and generate event opportunities through cold calling and in-person outreach.
  • Manage and prioritize opportunities to accelerate the visibility of TELUS products/services through experiential event marketing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective event marketing strategies.
  • Events Coordination:
  • Oversee the day-to-day logistics of pop-up kiosks across malls, ensuring seamless execution and maximum impact.
  • Execute a community event strategy across festivals, trade shows, and retail locations to increase penetration of TELUS products/services.
  • Leverage market knowledge and analytics to build and execute a community-centric marketing event strategy.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in event planning, marketing, business development, or sales management.
  • Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and motivate cross-functional teams towards a common goal.
