In this senior role, you'll oversee quality assurance efforts for a groundbreaking construction project in Chalk River. Your responsibilities will include reviewing documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards, coordinating testing and inspections, and conducting internal and supplier audits.

Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Documentation: Review and approve documentation to guarantee adherence to specifications and quality programs.
  • Testing and Inspections: Coordinate and lead factory and site testing requirements, inspections, and surveillances, documenting findings from these activities.
  • Audits and Investigations: Lead internal and supplier audits to assess compliance with quality standards and conduct root cause analysis investigations.
  • QMS Development and Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documents to meet customer requirements and ensure consistent quality practices.
  • Training and Mentoring: Train project personnel on the QMS, ensuring everyone understands quality processes and requirements, and mentor junior quality personnel.
About You

We're seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in quality management, preferably in construction or related fields. Key qualifications include:

  • Education: Degree or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: More than 8-10 years of relevant experience in quality program management.
  • Certifications: Knowledge of CSA N299.2 and ISO 9001 standards, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
  • Leadership Skills: Effective communication and leadership skills are crucial for success in this role.
